We are pleased to announce a small, yet significant change to the student new hire process in Workforce. To help improve security, you will now use the studentsā€™ PID number instead of the social security number to complete the new hire process.

After the conversion on November 16, 2018, when you select the ā€œNew Hireā€ option, you will enter the PID number, including the ā€œPā€, in the field that was previously labeled for SSN. The leading ā€œPā€ is not case sensitive. You will complete the rest of the process as normal.
