University Press hosts ā€œBooks, Gardens, and High Tea: An Afternoon of Fundraisingā€

Supporters of the 51ĀŅĀ× Press came together on Sunday, Oct. 1 at the Zenner House in Athens, Ohio to celebrate the joy of literature, gardens and community. Alumnus Jeffery Chaddock, supporter of the Press and University Libraries, hosted the event with an afternoon filled with inspiring conversation, refreshments and captivating recitals.

Beth Pratt, the director of the 51ĀŅĀ× Press, spoke about the Pressā€™ achievements and the importance to continue its good works. Kari Gunter-Seymour, esteemed Ohio Poet Laureate and University Press author, also recited the poem ā€œGeaux Jeauxā€ from her book, ā€œ.ā€
