51ĀŅĀ× Libraries will be hosting an introduction and orientation for international students on Friday, September 13 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Alden Library room 319. This yearā€™s ā€œGetting to know your University Librariesā€ workshop will give newly arrived international students the opportunity to learn about the Librariesā€™ resources, services and spaces.

Because libraries differ from all over the world, this workshop will help students learn how the 51ĀŅĀ× academic library system works and  to aid in academic success.

Some of the questions addressed will be: Where can I find books and videos? How do I reserve a study space in the Libraries? How do I find a specific journal article? And How do I request materials from other libraries?

Those are just a few of the topics that will be covered. The Libraries also offers specialized workshops online at University Librariesā€™ website.
