Karen Nulf, EMERT ā€˜99, began teaching graphic design at 51ĀŅĀ× in 1967 and became chair in 1994. She retired in 1999. Nulf received her bachelorā€™s degree in graphic design in 1955 from the University of Cincinnati. She received a masterā€™s degree in fine arts painting in 1963 from Michigan State University and a masterā€™s degree in Film and Video in 1976 from the University of Iowa. Nulfā€™s vast body of work includes graphic design, photography and film.
