Nearly 2,000 area companies, including Global Cooling, Inc., have generated more than $400 million in additional local economic activity with the help of TechGROWTH Ohio.

In 2008, TechGROWTH helped Global Cooling, Inc. write a proposal that garnered a $1 million grant through the Third Frontier Advanced Energy Program. They also worked directly with Neill Lane, CEO of Global Cooling, as an executive-in-residence to develop a strategic business plan for the company. TechGROWTH Ohio is a $52 million public-private partnership composed of the , 51ĀŅĀ× and the private investment community.
Lane shared that TechGROWTH was the lead investor in Global Coolingās first round of financing. He also attributed his companyās subsequent growth and successful later rounds of financing to the financial and operational support that TechGROWTH provided.
Lane said that TechGROWTH Ohioās resources and services continue to provide opportunities for numerous startups across the region, which serves as a vital catalyst for economic growth across the region.
