OHIO seeks student input on Changing Campus Culture Survey

Sara L. Trower
Dear Bobcats,
Calling all Bobcats! The Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) and 51 need your participation in the 2018 “Changing Campus Culture Climate Benchmark Survey.” I am writing today to encourage you to take this short, confidential, , which ODHE requires all Ohio colleges and universities provide to their students.
The “Changing Campus Culture Climate Benchmark Survey” provides a common set of data points – benchmarks – from campuses across the state of Ohio that helps ODHE and Ohio colleges and universities, including 51, better implement the ODHE’s Changing Campus Culture initiative.
This is the third year for the “Changing Campus Culture Climate Benchmark Survey.” This year’s Ohio University goal is 5,000 responses. That would be an increase from 51’s 2,825 responses in 2017, and its 1,033 responses in 2016. If we reach our goal, all students will be entered to win one of three $75 Bobcat cash incentives.
In 2015, the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) created the Changing Campus Culture initiative to assist Ohio colleges and universities in working to prevent campus sexual violence. The information obtained through the Changing Campus Culture Initiative and this survey has already helped ODHE identify and provide resources to 51 and other campuses across Ohio that are having a positive impact.
Be part of the solution to end campus sexual violence. Take the survey by clicking on the link below:
