There is still time for interested students to apply for the position of student trustee and serve on the 51ĀŅĀ× Board of Trustees. Serving as the student trustee provides an opportunity to represent student voices in the University decision-making process, as this position serves as the liaison between the student population and the University Board of Trustees.

In addition to providing support and a voice to the rest of the student body, this role will give the student valuable transferable post-graduation experiences and is an excellent addition to any resume no matter what the studentā€™s major or career interests are. This student will also gain great interviewing experience through the process of applying, through two initial interviews in addition to an interview with the governorā€™s staff. 

The student trustee will serve in this position for two years, which is plenty of time to establish concrete relationships with University professionals as well as build a network beyond 51ĀŅĀ×.
