
51ĀŅĀ×ās Patton College of Education to host third discussion in new series, Global Issues on Immigration

51ĀŅĀ×ās Patton College of Education is featuring the third panel discussion in its new Munch and Learn Series: Global Issues on Immigration. āInternational Students and Immigration: Perspectives from Students, Faculty, and Staff, Part Iā will be held on Monday, March 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
The virtual Microsoft Teams presentation features a panel composed of students from various countries and 51ĀŅĀ× faculty and staff who work with international students. Panelists will share their experiences as an international student matriculating at a U.S. institution of higher learning. Staff will provide information on services available to support international students as they adjust to their study at 51ĀŅĀ×.
The panel features Kyle Butler, associate professor of instruction/Pathway coordinator/OPIE advisor, Ohio Program of Intensive English; Nanang Gunawan, doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision; Lorraine Koobokile, doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision; Nikol Lopez Llantuy, masterās student in Hospitality and Tourism; Jennifer Nisevich, associate director, PDSO/RO International Student and Faculty Services. The moderator of the discussion is Kelly Davidson, academic advisor; and the convener is Dr. Mona Robinson, professor, Counseling and Higher Education.
