OIT issues travel security guidelines

While traveling or taking vacations, many students, faculty and staff continue to access 51ĀŅĀ× programs and applications. This not only opens individuals up to physical risks, such as loss or theft, but can also increase exposure to digital risks, like using unsecured Wi-Fi networks, for example. Fortunately, these risks can be reduced by following a few simple precautions when you travel.

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has curated information security guidelines for travel that can help protect your digital privacy and security while youā€™re away from home. These guidelines are especially important to consider if youā€™re traveling internationally. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact the Information Security Office.
