OHIO alumna Ciara Crinion named head coach of US Under 15 Womenā€™s Youth National Team

US Soccer has appointed 51ĀŅĀ× graduate Ciara Crinion as the new full-time head coach of the . 

ā€œCiara has been rising through the ranks of the college game and we know she will contribute greatly to the playersā€™ experiences in this important age group at the start of our National Team pathwayā€ said Kate Markgraph, US Womenā€™s National Team general manager.

Crinion comes to US Soccer after more than 10 years of coaching college soccer.  She holds a US Soccer ā€œAā€ Coaching License as well as a Talent Scout License.  Since 2017, she has scouted and run Talent ID Centers for US Soccer and also served as an assistant with the U-20 WYNT.   She recently served as Head Coach at Seton Hall and previously served as an assistant womenā€™s coach at the University of Hartford.  As a player, she was a part of the Ireland U-17 and U-19 Womenā€™s National Teams and played college soccer at Central Connecticut State.

Crinion earned her masterā€™s degree in soccer coaching education at 51ĀŅĀ×.

We are excited for Ciara as she takes on this new coaching opportunity with US Soccer and the U-15 WYNT,ā€ said Dr. David Carr, former masterā€™s degree program coordinator in OHIO's Patton College of Education.
