Professor Collins is the Drs. Ram and Sushila Gawande Chair in Indian Religion and Philosophy in the Department of Classics and Religious Studies. Since coming to 51ÂÒÂ× in 2013, he has taught classes on Hinduism, Buddhism, comparative mythology, magic and the occult. He is also the author of two books and numerous articles about Hindu myths and is the co-editor of a book on religion and Indian horror movies.  Currently he is co-editing a handbook on the Indian Ma-HA-BHA-ra-ta epic and going off in a new direction with a book titled "King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s Metamodern Music and Mythology," which he will discuss during the cafe.
