51ยายื's Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce a new option to purchase University-owned devices.
A is now available for individuals and departments to initiate purchases for University-owned laptops, desktops, and accessories. The key benefits of using the form include the following:
- Allows users to choose the items to be purchased from a recommended list of devices and accessories that have been selected with the end user and the campus community in mind and will be supported by the Office of Information Technology.
- Provides those purchasing devices and accessories the opportunity to request a consultation with Office of Information Technology staff to discuss the best options for their needs prior to making a purchase.
- Ensures that all the necessary information to make a purchase is provided up front to reduce back-and-forth communication.
The Office of Information Technology is excited about this new option and remains committed to supporting the OHIO community.

- BobcatBUY catalog listing: The Office of Information Technology is working with CDW to align the BobcatBUY catalogs with the recommended devices to ensure a seamless ordering experience.
- Urgent requests: Initially, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) will not fulfill orders from local stock. However, OIT is partnering with the Bobcat Depot to support urgent needs and will continue to explore stocking OIT-recommended devices for future fulfillment.
