High school students are invited to apply for the highly-competitive Summer Law and Trial Institute offered this summer at 51ĀŅĀ×'s Athens campus.Ā The program is free.
In July, the Summer Law and Trial Institute (SLTI) welcomed 24 high school students from across the state of Ohio both to Athens and to the practice of law.
For two weeks, 20 high school students from across Ohio were immersed in law and justice, their Summer Law & Trial Institute experience culminating in a mock trial in an Athens courtroom.

Day nine--the mock trial--was totally worth the work, according to the high school students in the 2022 Summer Law and Trial Institute.
