Purba Das ​​​​is Professor in Communication Studies at 51ÂÒÂ×. She received her Master of Science in Sociology from Purdue University and Doctor of Philosophy in Communication Studies from Washington State University.
Dr. Das’ research employs a critical approach in the field of intercultural and health communication in understanding the problematics of nations, media, and health narratives in various populations in India and the USA. Dr. Das regularly presents her research at scholarly conferences such as the National Communication Association and the International Communication Association.
