Phoebe Giordano is third-year student in the Honors Tutorial College Environmental Studies program with a minor in Outdoor Recreation & Education and an Appalachian Studies certificate. She is from Charlottesville, Virginia and has a vested interest in local food systems, sustainable agriculture, and place-based learning. As the Sustainability Marketing Coordinator, Phoebe writes the bi-weekly newsletter, runs the officeā€™s social media pages, and works to keep the campus informed on upcoming sustainability efforts and events. Outside of the office, Phoebe works with the Voinovich School as a research scholar and enjoys getting outside whenever she can!
