Join us on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 for ā€œGetting to Know Scopus,ā€ a training on OHIO Libraries’ newest database offering discovery to relevant, peer-reviewed literature for the scientific, medical, technical, social sciences—and the arts and humanities.

With technology changing at an ever-accelerating rate, you need the right tools to ensure you thrive in an increasingly competitive and global research environment. Scopus, an international multi-disciplinary indexing & abstracting database, enables the user to track and analyze literature in your respective field, by:

  • Setting alert notification on published articles;
  • Managing your scholarly presence;
  • Discovering authors and potential collaborators
  • ORCID ID set-up at all sessions.

The training is being offered Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 with the option of three morning—o°ł one afternoon training.  The sessions are free and open to the OHIO community.

Morning trainings held in Alden Library's Friends of the Libraries room 319

  • 9:30 a.m.
  • 11 a.m.
  • 12 noon (will include pizza)

Afternoon training held in Room 318/Alden Library

  • 2 p.m.
