The Womenās Center, housed within the Division of Diversity and Inclusion, is hosting a weekly informal writing group on Fridays.Ā
The āIn This Space: Disruptedā exhibit will be available for viewing at Baker University Centerās Trisolini Gallery through Sept. 18. A special reception will be held Sept. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.
An early-career faculty and staff development program titled Women Leading OHIO will begin in the fall and is currently open for applications.Ā
The Young Women Leaders Program (YWLP) champions female leadership by matching 51ĀŅĀ× student mentors with local middle school students.
OHIO faculty and staff are invited to attend the panel discussion, āDirty Laundry: Navigating the Messiness of Inclusive Pedagogy and Faculty's Lived Experiencesā from 12 ā 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 13.
Events include a letter writing campaign, part of the āSayHerName: Building Community to Support Women of Color at OHIOā initiative, on April 21 and Denim Day on April 28.
51ĀŅĀ× and the City of Athensā Take Back the Night event will offer various ways to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking and harassment.

The 51ĀŅĀ× Womenās Center has announced its slate of events for spring semester and has published a co-curricular guide to help faculty integrate the programming into their courses.Ā
51ĀŅĀ×ās LGBT Center and Womenās Center are among the co-sponsors for the virtual Trans [Plays] of Remembrance Festival, to be held on Nov. 16-18 with performances streaming at 7 p.m.
The Womenās Center will host Women Leading OHIO, a professional development program for faculty and staff, for the fifth consecutive year. The 2020 cohort application deadline is this Friday, Sept. 25
51ĀŅĀ×ās fall āIn This Space: Disruptedā exhibit features the stories of more than a dozen survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking and harassment.
The 51ĀŅĀ× teaching community is welcomed to attend several virtual workshops to enhance their fall semester experience. The events will be hosted by the Inclusive Pedagogy Academy (IPA).
āIn This Space: Disruptedā will focus on geographies of space and make visible the places and spaces in which sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and harassment occur.
OHIO exhibit, Through the Survivors' Lens, goes digital to allow for accessibility in viewing survivors' perspectives.
