51ĀŅĀ× launched one of the nationā€™s first degree programs in communication systems management in 1981 to meet the telecommunication industryā€™s need for well-trained professionals. The degreeā€™s name was changed to Information and Telecommunication Systems (ITS) and is now housed in the J. Warren McClure School of Emerging Communication Technologies (ECT).

Our ITS grads get good jobs in the industry because they learn from experienced faculty and by using the same equipment they will find in the workplace. Maintaining this level of quality is important to these studentsā€™ futures, as well as the schoolā€™s.

We encourage all alumni and friends to support the J. Warren McClure School of Emerging Communication Technologies with their gifts of time, expertise, and money. Our two primary fundraising operations are the annual Lonsbury Memorial Scholarship Event and the ITS Innovation Fund.

For information on giving to the McClure School, email Amanda DeWees or call 740.566.0242.
