At this time, there are no special precautions.
The 51ÂÒÂ× Student Research and Creative Activity Expo is held annually to highlight student research, scholarship and creative works. OHIO and local community members, including high school students, are encouraged to attend the Expo to see how OHIO students are furthering knowledge and benefiting society.
Registration is closed.

Poster Finish: Matte finish preferred
If you plan to present a poster at the Expo, please fill out the following Qualtrics between now and Thursday, April 3rd, 2025. No submissions/poster funds will be accepted past April 7th.
All submissions between April 4th and April 7th will be charged a $10.00 rush fee.

Yes, students are eligible to compete for judging in up to two Special Session Awards in addition to their regular session. This year, there will be fewer Special Sessions. Each participating department will hold its own poster sessions with judging prior to the Student Expo on April 8, 2025. These Special Session Awards will be presented during the Student Expo. Monetary awards may vary depending on the Special Session and will be awarded after the Student Expo.

Yes. This year 51ÂÒÂ× Culinary Services will have stations set up inside Walter Fieldhouse. They will be doing two meal sessions. The 1st session will be serving breakfast items. The 2nd session will be serving lunch items. The food items will be available to purchase using a debit/credit card only. No cash sales permitted.

Yes. 51ÂÒÂ× Alden Library have once again graciously donated funds to support this initiative. Short-sleeve t-shirts will be given to registered participants. Sizes will be determined during the registration process, and t-shirts will be handed out prior to the Expo date. Participants will receive communications via email and/or news releases regarding this date.

Yes, there is an option for a group presentation. You will need to choose this option during the registration process. You will need to know each member's name and PID number. You are limited to participate in one group presentation and one regular presentation only. More than one group presentation participation is not prohibited unless prior authorization is given, or your presentations are a part of a class project.
You can visit this page and select the registration link near the top of the page on 1/13/2025. Registration closes 1/31/25. You can also scan the QR code at any flyer location found around campus. Look on the bulletin boards in the buildings to find them.
In Walter Fieldhouse, there are limited power outlets. Due to the limited number of outlets, please plan accordingly as electric is not guaranteed. Email research@ohio.edu to discuss. Power outlets are not for use to charge laptops.
