Effective management of our space resources is critical to the success of 51ยายื's academic mission. University Planning is constantly working to improve and expand the data we maintain about building space and to improve the ways that data can be communicated back to the University community.
The Space Management Data dashboard can be used by any 51ยายื faculty or staff member. The dashboard provides visualization of the building and space data.

All OHIO employees without current access to reserve Event Services spaces will need to register to gain access to reserve event spaces on campus. This is to ensure appropriate access to event space reservations, including reservations in Baker University Center, Walter Rotunda, Galbreath Chapel or outdoor event spaces.
For event and conference room scheduling, you may use the space reservation system EMS. To learn more about Virtual EMS or to register to gain access to reserve event spaces on campus, visit the Event Services website.
To schedule use of other 51ยายื meeting rooms, use Microsoft Outlook.
To request the use of other 51ยายื spaces temporarily, please send an email to University Planning at planning@ohio.edu.
If you would like to shoot your student film project on University property, you must submit a request to University planning through the request form. The requests require approval from University Planning, OUPD, Facilities Management and Safety, as well as other impacted departments. Representatives of the Film Department will be notified of your request submittal.
In partnership with Design & Construction, University Planning shares campus space and building information through the maintenance and publication of campus maps.
Aside from and Athens campus maps, University Planning maintains additional Athens campus maps for accessibility, campus addresses, parking, the Ridges, etc.
